The Certified Cloud Architect course provides end-to-end coverage of fundamental cloud computing topics as they pertain to both technology and business considerations. It covers conceptual level concepts such as focusing on topics that address cloud service architecture, cloud security threats and technologies, virtualization and containerization. Once the conceptual components are covered, the course gets even more technical and drills down on the inner workings and mechanics of cloud computing platforms. Private and public cloud environments are dissected into concrete, componentized building blocks or patterns that individually represent platform features, functions and artifacts. These blocks are collectively applied to establish distinct technology architecture layers. The course then explores Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments, composed of unique and shared building blocks. Finally, the course dives into elastic, resilient, multitenant and containerized technology architectures, along with specialized solution architectures such as cloud bursting and cloud balancing. The course then presents a lab for participants to perform exercises, answer questions and apply their knowledge.

As authorized partners of Arcitura, TechnoEdge Learning uses the official curriculum to prepare for the Cloud Architect Certification exam. Completion of the Certified Cloud Architect course and passing the Cloud Architect Certification Exam (C90.CAR) proves proficiency in best practices in cloud architecture, allowing employers to feel confident that the participant is able to apply the knowledge learned in the course.

The course includes a 12-month subscription to the following digital course materials:

  • Video lessons (Modules 1, 2, 4 and 5)
  • Workbook (Modules 1, 2, 4 and 5)
  • Exam preparation guide with sample questions (Modules 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6)
