Professor Ghulam Shareef has been working in Canadian IT and education industry for more than 15 years. Shareef started his career with SWEDA CANADA as a Microsoft Product Specialist / Project Manager, and was directly reporting to Vice President for his project. It was a great success and was taken over by IBM Canada.

In 2005 he joined HiTech Institute. As a Corporate IT Trainer, at HiTech he was training companies like Siemens, PricewaterhouseCoopers, TD Canada Trust, CIBC, and preparing them for various IT certifications. Shareef also worked for Qualia Clinical Research (Whitby) part of Bio Pharma in 2006, where he was responsible for network infrastructure development, as well as implemented Microsoft database solution and network security which later got audited and approved by FDA.

Shareef has also taught Network Security, IT Auditing Penetration Testing at Everest College, Trios College, Toronto College, BizTech Institute and various other community colleges. Mr. Shareef has also helped many individuals from different communities to be able to find correct career path. Currently he is associated with a college in Durham Region.
